Tidak setengah hati mengonsep ponsel, Motorola mengeluarkan seri tersebut dengan beragam fitur yang mengedepankan teknokogi. Di antaranya layar Full High Definition Full HD dan kualitas suara ponsel ini seolah enggan berdiri sebagai 'followers' dari banyak merek. Misalnya, ketika merek sebelah menawarkan kualitas kamera mumpuni sehingga bisa memenuhi keinginan selfie pemiliknya maka Motorola berdiri bukan sekadar untuk keperluan tersebut. "Kualitas kamera kami sudah bisa memenuhi kebutuhan selfie tapi kami tidak fokus pada area itu, kami meningkatkan performa agar satu ponsel bisa memenuhi seluruh kebutuhan pengguna," ujar Country Lead Lenovo Mobile Business Group Indonesia Adrie R. Suhadi dalam acara peluncuran Motorola 'Moto M' di Jakarta Pusat, Rabu 22/3. Meski brand lain berlomba-lomba bermain pada kamera, Motorola tidak hanya memusatkan performa pada satu titik tersebut. Sebab, sebuah ponsel pintar sudah sepantasnya memberikan kepuasan dari banyaj fitur yang ditanamkan. Kondisi tersebut akan membuat konsumen tak merasa sia-sia membeli ponsel karena sudah mencakup seluruh kebutuha yang diperlukan. Moto M memiliki spesifikasi tinggi tapi tidak terlalu mengejutkan untuk ponsel pintar masa kini. Tubuhnya berbalut metal penuh dengan layar sentuh seluas 5,5 inch. Ponsel dibekali prosesor Octa Core 2,2 GHz berkecepatan akses internet mencapai 300 Mbps. RAM 4GB berkolaborasi dengan penyimpanan internal 32GB dirasa cukup memenuhi kebutuha kerja dan gaya hidup. Sedikit percikan air tidak masalah, namun ponsel tidak kuat ditenggelamkan atau mengambil gambar di dalam air. DisplaySufficiently sharp yet not as accurate as we'd like it to be The Moto M brings along a IPS LCD display with the acceptable resolution of 1080 by 1920 pixels. Though we've seen sharper, the display will be more than adequate for 9 out of 10 users. However, there's much more to phone displays than resolution alone. Chief among those other properties is color temperature, and the Moto M is not as accurate as we'd like it to be. For starters, the display is 'cold' – it clocks in at 8452K, which is way higher than the standard 6500K color temperature. This makes white colors way bluer than they should be. A common flaw for many affordable devices, but a flaw are two display settings – Standard and Vibrant. Even in the standard one, the Moto M's display has the tendency to oversaturate green, yellow, and red colors, though not excessively so. Switch to Vibrant, however, and all colors become overly vivid and totally inaccurate. Needless to say, we are not fans of that, so we kept the display in its standard display's gamma is mostly correct, which means that contrast representation is accurate.
